About us
SWJ was set up in December 2005 by Pete Noyce and his father, also called Pete. Pete junior, from Southampton, has a National Diploma in Art and Design and an HND in Illustration, Photography and Graphic Design and worked for years as a tiling contractor before setting up the company.
Pete was first inspired by the process after seeing water jet cutting equipment in action during his tiling work. He was so impressed by the highly specialist and technical machinery and techniques involved that he decided to capitalise on his design background and moved into the sector himself.
The vision and success of Pete, who also conceives some of SWJ’s design concepts, was rewarded in 2009 when Premier Shipping and Packing (PSP) acquired SWJ.
